I'm sorry you're so sad. sadness is the price of love, a price worth paying.

In my world, cats come and go, as needed, as teachers and companions. Clearly, your cat friend taught you much, and there was much love shared. You were truly blessed.

Fear not. If your teacher and friend cannot return, they will send you another teacher. It is their way.

Oh Kit that is so beautiful - I really feel for you.

Absolutely love the slug in the bowl story - that's happened to me too! And the furniture thing!

I have seven cats. They are all totally independent and come and go as they please. Two of them hang out with me 24/7 (in my basement den and sleep with me), one (the old witch) lives outside in a two roomed kennel with underfloor heating and the other four live in the living room.

Many, many times in my life a cat has come and given me solace when things are bleak. My closest one (calico) gets into bed beside me and puts her paws on my heart and kneads me when I'm feeling down - imagine, the little lady.

I can say for certain I would be lost without them.

Can you please tell us his name? Just to enhance and channel the energy.

Keeping you and him in my prayers.

Owen.

P.S Thank you so much for OffG - sanity in very frightening world.
