Like how Captain Thomas Harrington had a minor in theater where he excelled unlike his other classes.
Or the fact that the spacesuits were built by a female undergarment maker that will never do that again.
Or how they could not test the Mars hopper without crashing on Earth but the engineers explained that it will work flawlessly on the Moon (sorry Mars!) and it did!
Of course at the end, we were disappointed the follow up missions were canceled at the last moment. We still have the Jupiter V rockets and the Mars transfer capsule and everything else already built. So I am certain one of these days someone will put them all together and we'll be back!
As for those dastardly conspiracy theorists, they would rather believe the government lied instead of accepting that we live in the best of all possible worlds.
